The Final Cover for What If I Was Digital?
After exploring many different ideas with the designers at Palmista Press, I have selected the final cover for What If I Was Digital? The earlier concepts approached the novel from several interesting directions. Some focused on the contrast between biological and digital humanity. Others explored family, identity, memory and the question at the heart of the story: Would you still love me? Several of those designs captured important themes from the novel. However, when it came time to select the final cover, I kept returning to one question: Which image most accurately reflects the book itself? This is the cover I chose. A Moment from the Story Unlike the more abstract concepts, the final cover places the reader inside the world of the novel.
